A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
and changing the name will accomplish this?
as a person who watches the channel regularly (although it will be less so after BSG), I am more irritated by the name change. I'm not sure this will bring a lot of kids to the channel who wouldn't have already been interested.
It's like if TNT changes its name to teeny.
They should have just renamed the channel "Monsters & Wrestling" if they wanted to reflect their actual content.
Or...
"Dumb, One-Word Movies & BBC."
I'm assuming they are doing it so they can later claim they are not just a "Science fiction" channel and have *more* of the odd non SF&F programs added to the schedule.
Do they still air Braveheart a lot? ABC Family shows Cruel Intentions non-stop, and American Movie Classics airs contemporary British television series Hustle.
American Movie Classics airs contemporary British television series Hustle.
And I'm pretty sure they're officialy just "AMC" now.
Honestly, it's not that SciFi is changing their name, it's that they're changing it to something really really stupid.
“If I were texting, this is how I would spell it.”
THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT OKAY!!!!!!!
How is y any easier to type than i?
And we can't call it skiffy anymore!
Also, CNN Headline News is now HLN.
