A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

theoretically, he could have chosen not to kill ellison because ellison was not an immediate threat, and it was not his mission. however seeing as how cromartie has injured/killed other people just for yelling at him (i.e. the coach),it's wierd that he would walk away unless there was something in his programming telling him not to kill ellison.
I wondered whether Ellison might play some future role that the terminator had in his files. The other explanation is Cameron's focus on the mission. At that point, Ellison couldn't stop him, and Ellison isn't the mission.
eta: Ah, the wonders of the crosspost. In the gym, he was focused on finding John, so he threw aside someone who was trying to stop him.

yeah, there's a discrepancy in the behavior. Why not kill him? He's a nuicance that will come back to haunt him, even moreso than a coach or some guy in a school office (forget the guys position). So, to me, if there aren't any actual plotholes, either Ellison has protection because he unwittingly plays some part in the coming JD, or Cromartie is developing humanish emotions and was pinged in some way by Ellison's acceptance of his inevitable demise.

I thought that he didn't throw the coach aside until after he'd identified the kid and knew that he wasn't the John. coach started yelling about C being a perv and C threw him into the wall. C could have just kept moving.
Yeah, I think Cromartie identified Ellison as having a role. Of course, that role may well have changed since.
Maybe Cromartie thinks Ellison will lead him to John?

This is what I was thinking. Ellison has quoted Revelations in at least two episodes and been shown at his Bible study group. Could he do something or in some way aid the machines to hasten JD and Cromartie has that information?

Oh dear, I hope Ellison doesn't turn out to be one of those people who wants to speed up the Rapture. I LIKE him.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the RoboYay! yet.
Is John simply anthropomorphising Cameron and getting attached to her like one would to a Rottweiller, or are they really going there, what with Vick being able to pass off as a man someone would marry/fall in love with in the other plotline.
And has Cameron's mission all along been to make John a big ole softie (um) for her?
I don't know how I feel about this. I don't think roboyay! is my beautiful cake.
