A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've seen other enthusiastic mentions of Being Human but no explanation of the premise (probably becuase it does sound like the start of joke, if they all walk into a bar....)

Kings will be on my Definite Give It A Try list, even though it will be an effort because of that antiTAR scheduling -- thanks for the heads-up.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

BSG:

I am thinking that Cavil's end game is to get the final 5 to come to him. He wants a resurrection ship. The only people who know how to do it are the final 5. I think he bets that someone will chase Boomer back to Cavil (or try to) and he might attempt to hold hostages until he can get the final 5 to him.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I happened to catch most of Episode 6 (of 6) of "Being Human" last night

Oooh, I had no idea that had been picked up. I thought the pilot was a lot of fun.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay - one spec I've read is that Galactica will become a Cylon type ship and that Anders would be the hybrid.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Huh! I don't see this as very likely, but it is a neat concept.

I've been loving Being Human, though I haven't seen the last episode yet. Episode 5 had the greatest cliffhanger ending I've seen in a long time!

The show's already been picked up for a second series of 8 episodes.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Comic book writer Ed Brubaker's live-action Internet series debuts

Ed Brubaker, the writer infamous for killing Captain America and respected for his work both inside the Marvel and DC universes (Gotham Central, Captain America, Daredevil) and for creator-owned projects like Lowlife and Criminal can now add Internet-action-series-creator to his list of titles. The Brubaker-created Angel Of Death debuts today over at Crackle. The every-weekday series stars Zoë Bell—the stuntwoman-turned-actress now probably best known for her terrifying work in Death Proof —as an assassin.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've been following Being Human since the original pilot. I've really been enjoying it so far.

The creator originally envisioned the setup as three roommates who were dealing with sex addiction, OCD, and self-esteem issues respectively. Then he worked those metaphorically into vampirism, lycanthopy, and ghosthood to make the premise more flashy and attention-getting.

Poor Chuck. He just doesn't get a break.

Kings still good through ep 3. I can potentially see it devolving into The AU O.C., but so far it's holding strong.

(And given that the creator is a Heroes alumn, it could very easily fall completely off the rails midway through S1. So I'm just hoping it will be on the air long enough to fail on its own terms.)
