'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh! I totally missed that (obviously) about Hera's drawing. Der.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I wonder what happened to Caprica?

And can I just say that I am highly amused that BSG Daniel (because I'm assuming that's who it is) does not look entirely unlike... you know, that other Daniel. Heh.

There IS only one!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I don't think that was actually Daniel. He was just picking up on the bass notes that Kara was picking out at the other end of the keyboard. He's just a good piano player who knows how to improv.

That's my take unless they actually show that no one else is seeing the piano player.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They sure made it look like he didn't exist when they final four approached Kara at the piano.

I watch Tahmoh's hangdog face on Dollhouse and think "They stole your baby!"

JenP - Feb 27, 2009 7:36:32 pm PST #6969 of 30001

Yeah, he wasn't there. When they all came up around Kara and she turned around, poof, no piano player.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Absolutely, that was Daniel. Kara learned "All Along The Watchtower" from her dad when she was a child. He suddenly disappeared when she was a kid (which would be when Cavil poisoned him). The show cut a couple of times from the Cylon projection to her talking with him. Kara is Hera Mach One.

Too bad about Boomer being evil. She's been abused by every group in the universe, so I sorta feel sorry for her. But she has free will and she uses it to fuck everything up.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Grace Park has the most fun job in the acting universe.

Note to self: Don't watch BSG when you're already in a bleak mood.

I kind of like this one:

3) The last episode features Ronald D. Moore appearing on camera. He says, "Well, we've all had a good run, haven't we? Let us just not end the series at all, and just hold this good feeling in our hearts forever." Ronald D. Moore then just stares at the camera for three hours.
