The agent who died on Fringe played Ellen's fianc´ on Damages. I knew he was someone's second fiddle (plotwise) but couldn't pin him down until this week's Damages ep.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
As I posted in UnAmericans, all German TV series are dubbed, but I can record the UK airings in April and send them over on DVD to be distributed by Buffista-chain.
I can do the German versions in March too, but I doubt they would bring anybody too much joy.
Torchwood series 3 dvd rumors from tvshowsondvd:
After two full series (UK-speak for "seasons") of Torchwood, the show's studio, producers, crew and cast have decided to forgo putting together a regular season in 2009, while the show it was spun off from does the same. While Doctor Who is doing four separate specials, airing fairly evenly throughout the year (and reportedly filming in high-def for the first time ever...yay!), Torchwood will instead go the mini-series route. Torchwood: Children of Earth will air on the BBC in the UK, and also on BBC America in the USA, over the course of 5 straight nights (one installment each evening). It is expected to air in both markets simultaneously, in either June or July. At the bottom you'll see the BBC America trailer for this "Series 3" mini-series, courtesy of YouTube (note: some mature content).
The Rumor Mill update posted yesterday by our friends at The Digital Bits report that "Torchwood: Season 3" (meaning the Children of Earth mini-series, naturally) is coming out from The BBC and distributor Warner Home Video here in the USA on both DVD and high-definition Blu-ray Disc in July. Our thanks to Bits-runner Bill Hunt for the heads-up about this info! Stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated as more info comes along about this release.
Oh, TVShowsondvd also reported that SCC season 2 is coming out in dvd/bluray in the 3rd quarter (probably August.)
And they reported a rumor that all three seasons of Star Trek: TOS are coming out in BluRay starting with season 1 in May. (At the same time as the movies.)
I enjoy Sarah Connor a lot, but find that I don't really have anything to say about it.
I saw Fringe for the first time the other night. The woman agent who sent the villain off to be gang raped (and I gather is going to end up with super-powers) is the star of the show and is considered one of the good guys?
Are we doing dollhouse here?
Some discussion I think is happening in Minearverse. Not a rule, either thread would fit, but seems to be the way it is working out.
Okay, this is getting interesting.
