Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Jess, I think that is where I was getting confused.

Trust my rage

I'm confused about why everyone is talking about Ellen? Did we see her inthis ep? Also, how do we know Felix was gay? (not doubting, just thinking I don't remember it being discussed or shown.)

Other than that, I really enjoyed this episode. Don't ever piss off Adama or Roslin!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ellen was in the previews for next week.

By my understanding Gaeta's bi--he slept with an 8 and with Hoshi (CIC crew) in the webisodes.

I don't think they showed Ellen in the episode, but they did in the promo for next week. I may be mistaken, but I think the stuff about Felix being gay must be in the webisodes, which I haven't seen.

Do I need to watch the webisodes? I could, but don't like if I have to.

Art Crawl!!!

On the show only - no webisodes - we don't know anything about Gaeta's sexuality.

I guess Ellen has to be with the Cavil bunch.

Trust my rage

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I predict that Tyrol will spend the next six episodes down in the FTL chamber frantically radioing Adama that he can't possibly provide him more power because it's tearing the ship apart. Also, he will discover that his model of Cylon has always spoken with a thick Scottish brogue.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

After this episode, I think the series is going to end with the destruction of the Galactica. And the colonists are going to become planet-bound again.

I hope that the piece Tyrol took out goes back in easily enough. Or maybe that's their rationale for the first drive upgrade. Still, the fleet is dead in the water unless it's done, never mind the wall tears (that looked oddly like scratches, not stress or tear marks).
