Is that "weapons hold!" supposed to save Gaeta's life? I mean, not that he knew the cavalry was coming to retake the ship--but was his willingness to commit suicide supposed to excuse him in any way?
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Wow! That was faster than I thought! But, did Sam make it!
And what Tyrol saw, was that left over from the last time centurians were on the ship?
supposed to excuse him in any way?
Apparently not.
Heh, so I guess that settles the Helen question. Ellen? Why can I never remember?
Um, there was a glitch right before Zarek and Gaeta were executed: what did Gaeta say?
Promo: I thought all the goo ships were gone.
He said "It stopped," I think (or maybe, "It's gone.") He meant that the pain in his leg had stopped.
Poor Galactica - she's falling apart.
Yeah, I need to see Sam.
After all this, I'm wicked sad about Gaeta's execution. I suppose that stems from shows that never end keeping characters around for longer than they reasonably should have existed, but I really had hoped there would be more fallout for Gaeta when the reckoning came due. Being bludgeoned to death with his own bloody stump? I can deal. Cold firing squad preceded by one last sad glimpse into Gaeta-as-a-normal-guy-just-wanting-to-be-understood? Fuck, man.
And, HELLO, Samuel Anders, please?!!!! I keeel you! The hell, I need some sign, even if it is still "on death's doorstep". It's like Ted Early getting arrested at the beginning of an episode of Life and then no further acknowledgment, only worse.
Thanks, Jen. That makes sense. (Or the itching. Guess imminent death is a good distraction.)
Yeah, it was affecting at the end. But, I mean, that was kind of expected, I guess. Zarek, though? Pffft. Good riddance. Aw, good-bye Original Apollo, though.
Guess imminent death is a good distraction.
Right?
