Lydia: But you are a vampire. Spike: If I'm not, I'm gonna be pissed about drinking all that blood.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Also...wait, what Super!Lana? Is this something awful that's happened on Smallville this season?

Don't read any further if you don't want to be spoiled before you watch.

It was going great this season and then they brought back Lana and after last night she now has some sort of genetic supersuit bonded to her/replacing her skin.

OTOH? It can't end well.

We have seen not much of Lois since the return of Lana at the wedding of Jimmy and Chloe.

On the good side, we've seen some excellent character work this season, and continuity and stuff.

Including three characters from the Legion of Super Heroes, one of which questioned the inaccuracies of the show vs Superman canon. "No glasses, no tights, no flights - Are we sure we have the right guy?"

Art Crawl!!!

Remember Lex's SuperSoldier project? (That gave us multiple Tahmoh Peniketts?)

She had them make her a Prometheus suit so she can be invincible and save the world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The things they'll sell:

GenkiWear, LLC is developing a trio of fragrances celebrating classic Star Trek. "Tiberius," "Pon Farr" and "Red Shirt" fragrances will be available in stores in the spring.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

"Red Shirt"

Wear it and get killed?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Let us not pretend that we will not head straight for the display to see what they smell like. I sense a strong scent with the essence of sandalwood for Tiberius. Pon Farr will be smoky and sensual. Red Shirt will be light and, well, forgettable

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

DragonCon beat them to the Pon Farr one years ago.
