Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Doctor Who's chief Dalek dies aged 82 [link]

My favorite bit:

In the sci-fi series he also played a living church gargoyle, a mining robot, a Welsh miner, a mutant and a nucleus.

WARNING: the end of the article has Who casting spoilers.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Also, ABC has ordered a pilot for a show based on the Witches of Eastwick.

This sounds deserving of a "bad idea" award.

Art Crawl!!!

Particularly since they have already tried it once.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

This sounds deserving of a "bad idea" award.

They could hire John Updike as the showrunner!

OK, I just landed on a recent vampire show (re-airing on Sci-fi) - Whatsit Eckles (from Veronica Mars) plays a vamp in it it, and there's this detective do-gooder vamp... I can't remember the name, and this is the first I've ever seen of it. So here's my question:

Whatsit Eckles!Vamp and do-gooder!Vamp are totally in love, right? I mean, seriously, with the jacket caressing and shit? Is there no sub in text anymore???!?

It's called Moonlight.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Jen, it's the slash that kept me watching, even though the show was at times lukewarm. And yes, sometimes the text is more than sub.

Moonlight, thanks. Heh, I think I remember some OMG the slash! But I'd never actually seen the show.

Our wings are not tired.

Moonlight had its moments, but it was as annoying as amusing.

But now is the time for BSG! It was a long week awaiting.
