Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I respect BSG more than I enjoy it, and I think a lot of that has to do with the grim tone.

This is my reaction; much like what I had to the bulk of Buffy Season 6. Well-written, well-acted, good production values, utterly joyless.

Maybe if Ron Moore threw in a musical episode, I'd watch regularly.

Art Crawl!!!

I enjoy the story and I don't mind the darkness. It makes moments when that are less dark really stand out.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Maybe if Ron Moore threw in a musical episode, I'd watch regularly.

Oh my. Maybe as a DVD extra.

I have to say, I do find BSG tremendous fun to watch. The plot is grim, yes, but it's so operatic that the grimness doesn't bring me down.

I would pay cash money to see a musical episode.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Me, I like the dark. I am, however, very tired of whiny Lee and crazy Kara. They have been the most ill-used characters in my book.

I wish they could find more for Dee to do, now that she is not shackled to Lee anymore.

Joss talks Dollhouse.

I agree about Dee. . . and given that I think Gaeta must have a pretty decent storyline (moving on from the webisodes) I hope that they have done the same for Dee.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

From Sumi's link:

Joss Whedon cracked up TV critics gathered Tuesday at the Universal Hilton Hotel as he riffed, via satellite hookup from Boston, about pilot reshoots, his fondness for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and a possible sequel to his direct-to-web musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

What was he doing in Boston?!
