I like the sound of that! Summer delight.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Speaking of things Torchwood, I just saw an ad for another Keys to the Castle with John Barrowman. This time he's looking at castles in France. It's supposed to air next Sunday, 6 ET, I think, on HGTV. I hope his husband gets to go with him on these jaunts, as I'm sure they'd be loads of fun for an architect.
Is anyone still watching Legend of the Seeker? The last episode, that was pornography, right? Prime time, network TV porn. Or am I crazy?
Tom, the bondage and torture one? Yeah, definitely.
When exactly is this show supposed to be set? I don't recall reading anything about cults of dominatrixes and S&M gear when I was studying the literature of Medieval Europe...
I have to stop watching the show now. Not so much for the onscreen silliness, but for the offscreen descriptions of child abuse, in at least two different episodes so far. That is one seriously fucked up TV show.
It's not in our world, Matt.
Tom - those are right from the book.
BTW, I think that the DW schedule is something like this - next movie around Easter, then one in Summer, then Christmas, then one in Spring.
I think. Unless it's Easter, Summer, Fall, Christmas. (I'm counting the Christmas 08 movie as the first episode.)
Watching the latest BSG DVDs and loved the one in which Tigh changes Tyrol's baby. Cracked me up! Also, Callie's death is still a total OMGWTF moment, even though I hated that character.
Yeah, I felt kind of guilty (for, like, one quarter of a second) for thinking, "Oh, thank god," when she went out the airlock.
Dear Ron Moore and David Eick,
Thanks for the show. More importantly, SIT UP STRAIGHT.
