'War Stories'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Did I blink and miss them showing what the super risky wormhole drive actually looked like in operation?

It looked exactly like the producers running out of money.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it was a brunette wig for the webisodes last year.

It doesn't look wiggy anymore. Especially not in the ep when she was wet.

The youngest Magnus is really not very bright, is she? And her mother and grandfather being such luminaries.

Oh no, it's been her real hair (just dyed) since the SciFi debut. Looks much better than the wig—I think dark hair suits Ms. Tapping.

She does look good darker. It just looked like her real hair in SGA too, and the timing was confusing me. Unless she's doing the whole thing over, which seems harsh.

Wingfield! Pookie!

Did anyone besides me find Sanctuary much more compelling than the SGA finale? It's so odd to be watching a show on SciFi that's undergoing a steep improvement in quality from episode to episode...

It left me cold on a couple fronts: I don't appreciate the Cabal enough, and I get the impression I'm supposed to think Ashley's got some redeeming value.

Art Crawl!!!

Ashley should be more interesting as an evil zombie slave.

I'm sad that there's no more Watson.

And I agree - it was much more fun than SGA and does seem to be improving.

I don't suppose we have any hint of when it's coming back?

Do you think that they're going to bring Sanctuary back and debut SGU at the same time? Possibly this summer?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does Atlantis start after SG-1 season 8? And where do Ark of Truth and Continuum fall chronologically?

Yeah, the ZPM they dig up in the Season 8 ender is what gets them to Atlantis.

Ark of Truthiness happens between seasons (SG-1: 10 and SGA: 4). Continuum happens just after "Search and Rescue" at the start of SGA Season 5.
