Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

'Selfless'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Thanks, Kathy! That unlocked my brain enough to finally hear "You have a bright future, Lewis."

From Galactica Sitrep:

The BATTLESTAR GALACTICA season 4 finale will indeed be three hours long. SciFi is still working out how to air those 3 hours on their schedule. There are apparently plans to air the entire three hours all together at least once.

Also, Ron Moore didn't know that the webisodes had been leaked but didn't seem to upset.

And more:

BSG: THE PLAN and CAPRICA do not have air dates planned yet, but THE PLAN is shot and is being edited now.

Moore had this to say about CAPRICA:

We start shooting probably in July, we're putting the writing staff together now and the crew, and just staffing up and getting ready to go. We'll start breaking stories probably in February, and maybe as soon as the end of the month depending on when all the pieces go together. We have a game plan of what the general storyline is and some directions so we're not starting completely from scratch.

... We sort of set out deliberately to set up Caprica so that you didn't have to see Battlestar. I think you could literally watch the pilot of Caprica without seeing a single frame of film from Galactica and you would get it. You could invest in that story completely on its own from there. We want it to stand as its own project.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've seen the webisodes up to 9 now, and I'm not really digging them anymore. It went from a tight little thriller to a kind of annoying retcon.

Re: the list - I don't think it's the same list as Baltar's execution list. I think the 8s killed the people on Gaeta's list directly before the Big Giant Execution List was ever in play.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm watching the Midnight ep of Dr. Who. I wonder how long I'll make it. The knocking has begun. I'm starting to remember how disturbing and sad it was.

Watching random back episodes of Who I recently saw one with a chained up Jason Connery. Very tasty. Also got my first taste of Sylvester McCoy. I liked him. Keeps Colin Baker at the bottom of the pile.

Our wings are not tired.

So I didn't see SGA last week. That was quite the teaser.

Isn't if fun, Laura?

It got a very divided response from people over at TWOP.

Our wings are not tired.

It is like a completely different show. Quite watchable, imo.
