'Serenity'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

does Ashes to Ashes get better after the first ep? because i was pretty bored and while i think Gene can be funny, i'm not as sold on him as a lot of people in fandom seemed to be. mostly it made me miss Sam.
so with that in mind, should i bother ahemming the rest of the eps?
I'm watching it, Fiona. Not quite feeling the love. I suppose some of the things I dislike are required in a post LoM show, but it still itches. The balance between her belief that it's a hallucination and the reality of the whole thing isn't working for me. And maybe they don't have two seasons the way LoM did, but there's too much of her family in there.
I agree with you on the chemistry with Gene, but I'm not yet decided on how I'll react if her knickers come off. Right now I want them on.
Does this mean that we may get an American version of Spaced? Is that a good thing?
No, it is not. When the news of the remake first came out, Edgar Wright was not pleased.
I hear that Michael Trucco was on Eli Stone.
SPACED is incredibly British. I mean, seriously - that is a train wreck waiting to happen on a massively epic scale.
Not to mention that the original series was a passion project with Edgar, Simon, and Jessica intimately involved with every single episode. It always seemed to me like they made it for themselves and were just nice enough to share it with the world. Why would you even consider "remaking" something like that?
Indeed, it's a project with the actors writing ever episode, the same guy directing all of them, and the other actors who know each other in real life(tm). (The guy who played Mike used to live with Simon Pegg, for example).
It's... just... Wrong.
Everybody should watch Spaced. It features lines about Buffy and Angel, for lord sakes, along with The X-Files, and just about every sci-fi TV series or movie you can think of. Plus it's about friends in love.
And it has a finger-gun fight.
