A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
What was it?
"Look! Can your fortunetelling explain that?"
"Chuh. Can your science explain why it rains?"
"YES! YES IT CAN!"
Also, when does Toph appear?
First third of season two.
It is a super brilliant little show. Love every last one of the characters.
Yep! That is one of many things I love about it. There's not a single major or minor character I don't love. And I even love most of the one-shots.
Oh, ha! Yes, the science line was awesome. There's quite a lot of good funny. I'm glad you kept turning people and people kept posting in here about it, or I never would have known, and I'd be sad for that AU Jen. Or, I am sad for her. Either way.
I lied. Check out DW's Avatar art collection:

Several are commissions.
ETA: The commissions are done by artists from the show. She gets the artist from specific eps to do iconic images from their ep. "Don't let the cave in get you down...SOKKA!"
You know, I just don't care about SCC anymore. I suppose that I want to know what happens, but I don't really care how they get there.
I really liked tonight's Chuck, but I hope they don't milk this "loss of innocence" thing with him seeing Sarah kill Michael Rooker tonight for too long. The Intersect knowledge he's flashed on so far should at least have given him some clue as to what kind of stakes everyone is playing for.
I don't know, Frank. Part of me didn't take it so much as upset at her killing the guy (although I'm not quite sure how much he could hear, so he may be a little more clueless than us) but more that she didn't trust him enough to tell him what she'd done.
Or at least, some combo of both.
And now no Chuck until the Super Bowl. *sobs*

That's a shame. I think it might be the best show I'm watching right now.
Me too, Dana. Even when it's not perfect, it's just so damned SMART I don't care.
Vee was complaining on LJ about how the women died in this one, but it really didn't bother me because usually in this show it's the men who die. Every episode I worry this will be the one where Ellison gets it; happily I've been wrong so far.
I thought Alan Park was very interesting. I'm not clear on why John didn't call 911 right away when he found Riley, though. And they do know first aid--what was up with just holding her on the floor?
And where was Derek this week, anyway? Not with Jesse, not with John, not with Sarah. Helllooo.
ION, I saw the trailer for Salvation, in which there are mostly men, and one babealicious woman who looks pregnant in one scene. I suspect the feminist sensibility of SCC is not going to carry over into the movie, more's the pity.
Should I be worried about the trend of short life expectancy for African-American health care professionals on this show?
