Over in the TWOP thread there was some talk that the reason shows like the Mentalist and HIMYM weren't available on the CBS site has something to do with some negotiations between WB and CBS.

I have no idea why CBS doesn't put up full episodes of The Mentalist. It's irritating.
They did have them up at the beginning of the season - that's how I watched. Huh. Guess I can't catch up now, eh?
What are the negotiations between CBS and the WB about? CBS buying?
