Willow ,'The Killer In Me'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I like that they're not letting Chuck get away guilt-free from the decision to let a (potentially) innocent person die in her dad's place, even if it did work out for the best.

(Interesting that Chuck herself, the nearest non-Ned person when the minute expired, didn't die in her father's place. Did we have any previous reason to suspect that resurrected people wouldn't be subject to the quid pro quo effect?)

Art Crawl!!!

I think that they can't die unless Ned touches them again. That's what I've understood.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't get around to mentioning the Chicken & Waffles idea that was floated during the show's A Plot -- I felt like it was a Buffista F2F shoutout. :-)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I could not believe they have reanimated Chuck's dad walking around. That is just the craziest fucking thing.

And yet...I'm fascinated.

AND, le n -- he's living across the street from Lily and Vivian. With bandages on his face to conceal his identity. I sense plot complications coming up soon...!

Hee! Right?

Also: this episode was written by Doug Petrie! I didn't even know he was on the writing staff!

Wait, was there another Pushing Daisies? My TiVo didn't record one.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, new episode. All cute and murderous and fun.

Complete with Wonderfalls x-over.

Back to Fringe: do we really think that we'll never see James Frain again? I mean, really?

Who's James Frain?

Compassionately intolerant

James Frain was the lawyer who inconveniently resisted buying a new suit the transported guy would have preferred wearing.

I'm thinking is character is toast, but with Fringe being so fringy with the ends dangling, you never know.
