But why go along with a request like that? It's exploitative and just not funny to me.

William ,'Conversations with Dead People'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If people are getting their knickers in a twist about this back home, then it's only because of the recent Brand-Ross fiasco
I guess I could look it up but what's this about?
Maybe I'm not getting the full story here, but WTF does it matter if he exposed himself on the radio??? It's...radio. No visuals.
(I mean hell, I've been naked on the radio. I don't remember anyone writing angry letters to NPR afterwards.)

I think they were filming it for webcast or something?
eta...which, why couldn't they just edit? It all seems like a very stupid thing to get worked up about to me.
Jessica, I've heard that the interview was also broadcast online at an hour when children might be watching.

Okay, that makes so much more sense.
The Brand/Ross incident involved crank calling an older actor and saying some stuff about his granddaughter. [link]
I guess I could look it up but what's this about?
Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross crank-called Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers) and left messages on his answering machine saying that one of them (I think) had had sex with his granddaughter, who is an exotic dancer.
Public outcry! BBC fines! Brand quits.

Oh, see, that's mean! Totally different kind of situation.

Um, because he's a very vocal exhibitionist and has been forever? The guy's husband met him at a play where he was performing naked two decades ago, and he's not gotten any shyer with time.
Apparently the webcast did NOT air footage of Barrowman's goods, so the only people who actually saw anything were the ones right there in the broadcast booth. People are clutching their pearls over being told that a man in some remote location opened his fly upon request.
