I'm still stuck in the middle of S6 (during Adam's emo phase) and I want to rush rush rush to S7 because there have been a lot of behind-the-cut-tag flailing. Not to mention the .... shit, I can't even say anything vague about anything, since this is the "oh, yeah, it'd do that. It's totally the do-that show" and everything is a spoiler landmine. I can't believe they are more than half way into season 7! Maaaan.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Not me. Tom, or whatever his name was, was the dumbest spy ever.
See, for me, it was All. About. Tom. It was the Tom show. He was the emotional heart for me, he was the vantage point of "what does this crazy spy-business do to our humanity?". I thought they were all bumbling idjits in those first few seasons. And then the new crew came in all cold and callous and Danny and Matthew MacFadyen's wife were phased out and I had to bail. I keep trying to watch it all and keep failing because of the no-more-Tom roadblock I keep hitting. If I push past that, is there some heart and soul that comes back?
If I push past that, is there some heart and soul that comes back?
I'm the wrong person to ask, because I thought Tom was so completely ill-suited for the job. I'm not sure how much heart and soul I'd want to see. But the show does keep getting me in the gut. It is the do-that show, as Vonnie notes.
If I push past that, is there some heart and soul that comes back?
Heart and soul of the show, for me, came back (or stayed, since I think she was introduced in S2) in the form of Ruth. I loved Tom and Zoe and Danny, but I loved Ruth more than all of them put together. And Harry. And Oh, God, the understated simmer that was Ruth/Harry. I find the term OTP excessively silly, but I was all Harry/Ruth OTP 4evah!!eleventy!! for quite a while. Boy, did I ship them hard.
What I wouldn't have given to be a Fox Network programmer with a Lunesta ad at my disposal when the teaser of Fringe went to commercial...
Fringe had a terrific opening tonight, in several senses of the word.
Responding to a comment in another thread, Walter doesn't sound British to me, just...professorial?
Oh, Ruth. She's so awesome. Although I have great fondness for Connie, and for Jo. And Roz rocks my socks off. Roz is what Tom Quinn should have been.
Okay is it bad that I am watching Chuck and notice the coffee cups at the resort? Anyone know where to get them, cause they were awesome.
Hey, I see why Xander looked so familiar! He was Wilfred Woodruff, the vengeful Chinese Dixietocrat from the funeral episode of Pushing Daisies!
ZOMG. I never would have known.
ZOMG, what an episode.
ZOMG, Cromartie John Henry!
i'll sit in your corner, Vortex. i thought those mugs were awesome.
