A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It was a great use of time-travel, where trying to prevent an event causes an event.
I don't see how this was so. Toby went back in time and broke in to the computer before he was captured. Warren gets sent to prison for what Toby did.
Ohhh -- you mean that Toby tortured Derek in the future as payback for what Derek did to Warren! Duhh! I completely missed that until just now.
Warren also tried to show the Homeland Security people where he had been captured and tortured, which I'm sure didn't help his case.

Oh, I totally didn't get that either!
Derek's speech about it being harder to watch somebody else be tortured than be tortured takes on an extra meaning, no?
And also (god, time travel makes my head hurt):
Toby went back in time and broke in to the computer before he was captured.
Yes, but bringing Warren into it might mean that Jesse and Derek were the cause of Warren's willingness to collaborate with the robots. Or part of the cause. And then Warren becomes Toby, who goes back in time and breaks into the computer.
Man, the scene with those robots standing there, being lectured, with their glowing eyes...
It looked like Grand Rounds.
Doctor Who Children in Need promo - BIG SPOILER - mentioned in intro to promo: promo - so don't watch if you don't want to know.
In re sumi's link. OH MY EVERLOVING GOD!1!1!!!
Ahem. I'd like to point out that I have never in my life done the multi-exclamitory 1s before. This warrants it.
Though I suspect a bait and switch, I don't care. I loveitloveitloveit. ::kicks leg in the air ala molly shannon::
A thought, in no way related to the spoiler. I've often wondered how big an "out" Timelord regeneration really is from death. It is an out. If there is such a thing as soul, it at least partially survives, and you have continuity of memories. But not only does regeneration result in a new body, but in new tastes and styles. A different attitude toward life. Even some variation in ethics - though I'd say ethically the doctors are fundamentally the same, there is at least some difference. That is a pretty scary change, not the same as decompasing in a box, but traumatic. Timelord death may not be like our death, but it is nothing to shrug off either. (And of course, given the existence of limited numbers of regenerations, plus the risk of a regen going wrong, each regeneration brings the Timelord closer to real death.)
Oh, I'm pretty sure it's a bait and switch. Well, a bait and
maybe a switch because I don't think that they've picked the new guy.
You know?
