Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

'Same Time, Same Place'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My big thought on the in-show sponsor is: shouldn't there be less overall commercials because of Degree's presence? Like back when 24 first aired and there were no or very small commercial breaks and instead two ginormous and rather awesome commercials bookending the show? That was slick and rather nice.

Well boo on the reduced order and the LONG WAIT. Summer 2009? Geez. But yay for directing an ep!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. TiVo tells me that it's CFerg's week. His Ghost Hunters ep, and a repeat of The House Next Door (I don't remember his co-star in that--maybe Lara Flynn Boyle) on Wednesday and Playing House and Inside The Osmonds on Saturday.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

How much did I love the total 80s geekitude of this week's CHUCK? A whole hell of a lot, I tell you what!

Our wings are not tired.

Tonight was the first time I watched Chuck. That was entertaining.

eta: I say this as a person with an old Space Invaders machine in the house.

I was a little disappointed. I wanted Chuck to lose, and then Jeff to come up and put his quarter in the plastic border and say "I got next" or something.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

The use of Rush's Tom Sawyer was brilliant.
