The Kalishna-Cod! I love this show.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
As usual, WENN tends to make everything tabloidy. They are both being a bit childish, but Shatner's not complaining that he wasn't invited -- he says several times that they're virtually strangers. In discussing the wedding Takei seemed* to go out of his way to bitch about what a jerk Shatner was on Trek decades ago. Shatner's reaction isn't angry, it's bemused. From his POV, it looks like Takei was saying "I'm getting married! And I'm not inviting Shatner because he's a jerk! So there!"
*I'm perfectly willing to believe that Takei was prodded into talking trash about Shatner, and then quoted without context. So mostly I think the media is playing "Let's you and him fight" and they're both dopey for falling for it.

That is exactly how I am reading it, and shame on them for playing along.
...Did Chuck's Aunts have a religious or philosophical reason for not having her embalmed?
Jewish.
I'm still curious as to why Chuck doesn't suffer from the "looking how you died" as the other dead people do. Shouldn't she be purple or something from the asphyxiation, and maybe a little pruny and nibbled by fish?
Something I've wondered myself.
so, is Ned really a vegetarian or did he just not want to eat the offal pie? And did anyone else wonder where the offal came from?
Who played Mrs. Cod? I missed the credits, and I feel like I should know her.
Loved the episode. This week was them doing the big splatter-gross-out episode I've been expecting for a while now, and it had a nice Sam Raimi feel to it. Cheerfully gross, IOW.

she's been in a ton of stuff. most notably to me, Everwood. her name is Debra Mooney.
Loved LOVED little Emerson. Now I want a complete set of Pushing Daisies Babies!
Also, the return of gun cozies!
Sometimes it takes damn little to please me.
