Yes, now they've got this radio interference model of anomalies.
'Heart Of Gold'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

load....load, damn you, LOAD...
Danmit, why was Barrowman not at Dragoncon?!?
Pretty for sure, but isn't Barrowman married. Sheesh. I'm feeling jealous on his partner's behalf.
I don't even watch Torchwood, and that was well worth the wait to load the page. Ahem.
Barrowman's been with his hubby since the early 90s, and it's not like he's been the shy wallflower type prior to Torchwood. I think the guy knew what he was in for. (Also, much better to have the hubby making out with straight co-stars that won't actually go further with him than random admirers who might...)
I am pleased to see Kai Owen getting in on the action, since his onscreen role doesn't involve any of that.
I'll be in my bunk. For the next year or so.

OMG yes! Yes! Oh, God, Zuko just slayed me! With his 'Hi, I'll be your Yoda' schtick, and then the team bonding, and...oh, God. Bless him. So much adorability.
However, I have concluded that Uncle Iroh is my very favourite character because he is Made Of Awesome. For strength of character, compassion, joie de vivre and sheer, sneaky, arse-kicking fabulousness, you can't beat Uncle Iroh. He knows who he is, he knows what he's capable of, and he knows what's important out of life - and it's not money, or fame, or reputation. It's love, and justice. I love that he's so easy-going, so willing to be undignified, so accepting of his nephew's Big Hamletty Angst and temper; it's not out of weakness - he is the Dragon of the West, after all, and a mighty warrior in his own right, and an excellent leader of men. It's out of love.
(Yes, 'The Tale of Iroh' when they were at Ba Sing Sei made me cry. With his wee song. Gah. I'm welling up just thinking about it.)
...it strikes me, a tad belatedly, that he punches all my Favourite Character Buttons. He is a deeply honourable man, and a wise one, and he could kill you with his pinky finger if need be - but what drives him most of all is love. Love for his family (well, okay, Zuko - the only moderately sane and decent member of the family left alive) and love for his fellow man in general. Love. And I'm all over that like a rash. (See also Jack Bristow in 'Alias', Wesley Wyndham Price in 'Angel' and Dean in 'Supernatural' for characters that punch Fay's buttons like nobody's business.)
