Ned should be able to touch any sort of meat twice and have it stay in the same condition as when it was first served to him, right?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I was thinking that the cooking process would take care of that, but hasnt he talked to someone who died in a fire?
There was that incident with the bear skin rug....

He also can't eat his own pies, so unless the rules are different for plants, cooking doesn't appear to change anything.

I thought that he couldn't eat his own pies because he brought the dead fruit back to life, and if he touched/ate it, it would rot again.
Yeah, I was just thinking, if he used fresh fruit, he wouldn't have that problem because there wouldn't be that much change.
Meat, however, would be a different, and altogether disgusting, thing.
Ned's power must have a limit, otherwise there would be all sorts of undead yeast and bacteria and whatnot floating around....

Oh man, just think of the ramifications for intestinal flora. (Or actually, don't. It's pretty disgusting.)
I figure with meat, unless he's eating an entire unbutchered cow/chicken/pig, wouldn't come back "alive" because it's not the entire animal.
I'd really like them to just drop the whole "Chuck is/isn't dead" shoe wrt the aunts and get it over with.
Yeah, I want the aunts to find out. But other than that tiny quibble with the plot, I still think PD is amazing and perfect and I luuuurves it.
