Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

'The Message'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

I actually watched Chuck On Demand on Sunday. And Life and last week's SCC on a friend's dvr. And let me tell you - SCC doesn't compare well to Chuck and Life. And I don't think that Shirley Manson is a good enough actor to handle the crappy writing she got - in last week's scene.

But Summer Glau rocked this week. That was very interesting. I (somehow) hadn't thought of there being a human being who Cameron was replacing. Very interesting.

Loved Chuck too - so many little things that were fun.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Huh. I think SCC is a much better show than Chuck. Chuck has lost most of whatever charm it had for me.

move out and draw fire

I think you should retaliate by drinking lots of tea, and trying to tempt him to play obscure boardgames. Yes.

Yeah. Too late. He's already started playing "The Jasmine Dragon" tea shop, and making us order and drink "tea" with him (water, so far).

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just recognized Jeffrey Combs underneath full-blown Andorian makeup and prosthetics from a few seconds on my TV with the sound muted, indicating that I may possibly watch too much sci-fi television.

Oh, Matt. I feel your pain. Sometimes I appall even myself with that kind of thing. Of course, sometimes I can't remember where I've seen an actor in no make-up that I've just seen in something else the day before not wearing make-up. My pain knows no bounds and is kind of erratic, as it turns out.

the scene with Peter and the bald dude in tonight's Fringe was very Doctor Who-like.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Yeah. Too late. He's already started playing "The Jasmine Dragon" tea shop, and making us order and drink "tea" with him (water, so far).
