Buckle up, kids! Daddy's puttin' the hammer down.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The thing I like best about "Fringe" are the "going to commercial break" cards where they have blue-tinged flowers and such. Those are beautiful.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

PC - I have achieved Avatar! And you're right, it IS rather splendid. So far have only purchased 'Book One' and watched first 8 eps, but I'm liking it a lot.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I just finished Book 2.

I received the first disc of Book 3 in the mail. Beau and I will watch it this weekend.

Head's up: Merlin starts on BBC1 at 7:30 pm British time tonight. ASH, Richard Wilson (the doctor from "The Empty Child") and Eve Myles all star, and if the kid playing Merlin looks familiar, it's because he's also a Who alumnus ("Midnight"). Advance reviews are a bit mixed, though.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Just got my Pushing Daisies DVDs, wheeee!

Interesting packaging. Quaint artwork that is more than a little creepy. Which I suppose is appropriate. But it is taking the pie theme a bit far.

As are the DVD menus where I have no idea what I'll be watching, as everything is labelled simply with pies and forks. Where are the bloopers?! I don't know! Maybe there aren't any, I can't tell.

Art Crawl!!!

I haven't had a chance to watch my PD dvds yet but the show is on my Tivo's To Do list now!!

Woo hoo!

Also, BSG fans - wasn't Seelix (Jen Halley) excellent in Supernatural this week?

Art Crawl!!!

Scifi greenlit "Warehouse" - which sounds rather X-Filesy and appears to have Jane Espenson as a writer. At least, she is connected to the pilot. It stars: Joanne Kelley, Eddie McClintock and Saul Rubinek.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No SGA talk? My main reaction is that who'd pick Rodney over Ronon?
