A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
While I delight in Russell's original plan for this year's xmas episode, I'm glad it got kiboshed. It would have been a terribly shark-jumpy moment.
Whitefont for the not yet reads:
JK Rowling fighting creatures of her own creation
.
On one hand, clever! On the other, oh no. It would have been a fanpocalypse. Wonder why Tennant vetoed it though.
Oh, that would have been crazy fun, but I suppose it's better left as a hilarious fantasy.
Also, DW has to have jumped the shark multiple times by now. It's been on for years! It must have made friends with the damn shark.

I'd dig it if only for the fact that the
CGI would be better than in the actual Harry Potter movies
.
I'm left with the mental image of Patrick Troughton water-skiing over a mechanical shark made of tinfoil, with William Hartnell steering the boat and telling him how he's doing it all wrong the whole way.
Thanks, Juliebird
See, there was plenty to snark on whilst keeping the love.
Heh, yeah and thank goodness. While I was coming down hard on the writers for the plot on paper -- I was silently blessing them for having an off week during my week.

Is it wrong that I can totally see this in my mind?
And, good point by you PC. But, just because the other kidswriters jumped off the bridge edge of reason doesn't mean RTD and Mofatt should too!

Eureka's been pretty good so far tonight, yay! And Kylie(?) is very cute.
Loved the umbrella's inspiring/calling back to the "Won't you be my neighbor" musical ad. Loved all of our characters working together above boards regarding Eva.
Sadly, while normally I would have been stoked to see that the characters are actually feeling the heat, I have deodorant on the brain and am looking to see who
isn't
sweating (Fargo? Zane?)
eta
Fargo for the win!
And, no they didn't just make Degree Men a plot point.
I think "Fringe" has already lost me.
Okay, if I wasn't already burned out by Degree, I think I would have totally and utterly enjoyed that ep. The character interactions, all the different plots, the sfx (I love cgi of suns, and I have no ulterior motives regarding this footage, nuh uh). Shoot, the details of sweating and sunburns and bandages, love that stuff. (Even if I had to handwave the consequences of all that heat and steam, but the magma/lava prepared me)
My gods, I even really liked Jo and Zane. Am I to take it that was their first kiss?! If so, tres cool, I don't know why. It would explain why all their scenes together so far were innocuous.
Lexi was tolerable and didn't set me too much on edge, another bonus.
What, next week is the last for a while? Boo!
Also, Henry is Mayor! Quite a ways to come in a short time - from Federal Prisoner to Mayor. Yah, my hands are doing a lot of waving, but I'll take it.
