A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Most U.S. nuclear plants still have a fair number of analog controls, because it can take the NRC a decade to certify a new control system. They're like NASA with its ancient mainframes. You'd not only have to have technology from robots from the future; they'd also have to be able to overcome NRC bureaucracy. The second is less likely than robots from the future.
There are any number of personal accounts of tours of power plants on the web. Also, things like procedure-based operating aren't secret. Here's just a tiny example. Every action goes something like this:
Operator A reads from procedure: Turn dial to X.
Operator B says: I am turning dial to X.
Operator A says: I see you are turning dial to X.
Along with the nuclear plant -- evidently you can RENT a HOUSE on less than a morning's notice? And it comes FURNISHED? And the occupants have left a roomful of unpacked children's toys behind?
Clearly there are benefits to being on the run from killer robots from the future that I had not considered.
I didn't understand this week's episode. Greenway was a terminator all along and neither Sarah nor Cameron clued in? For shame. How'd the guy from the future find their house?
I think I blinked too many times.
On top of that, it's a beautiful house, one of those magically affordable craftsman-style homes found in televisionland. Again, the killer robots seem more likely.
ita -- no, the Greenway Sarah talked to in the bar was the real one, who was later found hanged in his home by the Uncle guy. There was only a quick shot of it, right after Sarah had noticed that Greenway's cancer scar was missing.
I must have been in the kitchen for that bit. Thanks, Theo. Any idea how future boy found them?
So far as I know that was left unresolved.
I was really hoping that John and Riley would stumble over the body in the kitchen, but oh well.
I was sure they'd stumble over weapons--Cameron grabbed an assault rifle pretty quickly after he broke in.
Sarah totally shouldn't have gone into that shed or whatever it was without arms. Not safe.
Any idea how future boy found them?
he was presumably sent by John.
Any idea how future boy found them?
Their running theory was Future John told Dude With Hole in Chest how to get to the new house.
