Someone on LJ compared the latest episode to a first person shooter game, and while I've not played those it sounds about right.
I suppose I should be glad that the levels of cheesy exploitation I'd feared for the all-woman gate team (envisioned with freeze frame intros and Movie Trailer Guy descriptive voiceovers: "Sgt. Dusty Mehra... she's feisty!") never materialized.

I liked this ep a LOT when I saw the rough cut.
Okay that was cool. I liked that scene A LOT. Summer did a great job.
