I halfway expect a picture of a kid on a Nimbus 2000 when I see that title.
'War Stories'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
looks like the cover of a pb sword & sorcery/romance novel, no?
The characters both look so... generic.
Here's an interview with Ed Quinn. It includes his take on his departure from Eureka.
Cutest bit:
Ed - It's twofold. Yes, I do and they're nice and wonderful and flattering. But a lot of people don't recognize me. I'm much different on the series than I am in real life. When I'm Nathan Stark, it's almost a different persona. It's like they think. . .well, I don't know what they think. I have a neighbor who came down and to see a bunch of work I did on my house; he's lived down the street for four years. He was in my back yard checking out all the work I did and he asked, "What do you do, Ed?" "Well, I'm an actor." "Really? Anything I've seen?" "Umm, I'm on this TV series Eureka." And he looked at me like, well, I thought he might fall down. He got so confused; it's like his brain kind of froze for a minute. And he goes, "You're. . . you're Nathan Stark!!! That's my favorite show!!!" He lives right up the street from me and he couldn't get his mind around the fact that I was Nathan Stark. So some people recognize me immediately, but others, I blow right by them. It's really cool and really funny.
For those who remember, and some who don't want to:
Quark: The complete Series coming on DVD this fall.
Quark: The complete Series
Aww man, it's gonna be nothing like I remember, isn't it?
I suspect it will be nowhere near as funny as we thought it was...
Yessiree the full series. 8 episodes.

This is my big fear (and I big reason I haven't been able to bring myself to watch any of the old Get Smart that's been coming out). And yet, I will probably have to buy it.
Whew! I had to stay out of here for two weeks until I could catch up on Eureka. Stupid work. Anyway, yes to the Jossian execution, no, I didn't think it would be permanent, yes, it was the first time I really bought that Allison loved Stark, and yes, I cried two episodes in a row.
At first I thought Stark was just frozen in time, which would have been bad enough. His disintegration broke me. Then I saw Ed Quinn's name in the credits last week and thought the imprinted diamond would bring him back at some point in the episode. But no, it was just a message to Allison. Frak!
Yay to CFerg and everyone in these last two episodes. Well played.
Also, I'm pretty sure that Vincent would be a buffista.
ION, SGA cancelled?! I haven't watched the latest episode, and I'm not emotionally involved, but I like it being there for when I have time to watch the recorded episodes. And it's hard to keep believing the world revolves around me when shit like this happens.
IOON, Mark Sheppard on Middleman? Dude. Whatever he is doing with his voice so it sounds like he is speaking low enough so that no one else in the room can hear him? It totally works for me. I don't remember him doing that so much on Firefly, but I guess that is how he was speaking on BSG.
He's going to be the evil equivalent of the Middleman, isn't he?
