Mal: That's not what I saw. You like to tell me what really happened? Book: I surely would. And maybe someday I will.

'Safe'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So is Colin shooting the "winter shows' right now?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

In that interview, Colin reminds me of someone at work. A really good mood that seems to be contagious.

I never made the House=Holmes connection. Dang, that kinda confirms subtlety is lost on me. Or, you know, the blaringly obvious.

I gather there are various other things in the show, like House having the same address as Holmes, and some Moriarty villain, and heaven knows what else

Well, the drug addiction. And general crankiness.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I am thoroughly embarassed that it took my friend to point out that the show is blatantly riffing on Sherlock Holmes

Debetesse had to tell me. But I'm not English...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Colin's on "break" right now, for values of break that equal not filming--he's still doing other stuff, including interviews and the like.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, the drug addiction. And general crankiness.

Plays the guitar (vs. the violin.)

I'm in good company, I see. I never would have associated House/Wilson with Holmes/Watson.
