Alan Ruck!
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Word, word and word! Dunno 'bout Toledo.
Loved Carter trying not to crack up in front of Thorne about dead Fifi.
Zoe's hair is just so awful /shallow.
I'm hoping that Henry is wise to Thorne and her potential ulterior motives. He at least knew that he owed her a huge favor.
This episode is appealing to my inner 12-year old. All about dogs blowing up real good and people getting slimed.
Ohh, Colin, your stupid face! You're killing me over here.
This is so great!!
What's killing me is all the dog/puppy puns (and the lave/pressure jokes/anvils).
Also, I hate dog shows and anything with perverting animals, for human gain, so the dog show thing is totally turning me off, even if they are robots.
Okay, so everyone's in such a good mood... who thinks next week is going to go really, really badly?
Also, I think I need a new tag...
Agree with Zoe's hair. I miss the different colors.
That last little bit with Carter and Zoe got me all sniffly.
Henry's on to Thorne, and so is Carter, yay!
But, way cooler, it seems that the writers are holding onto the fact that Henry still has a secret he's keeping from Jack. Which either means the memory wipe (yay!) or something new (boo!).
Loved the continuation of the mutual Carter/Stark Disappreciation Society, but having them synchronize the same dialogue two weeks in a row is a bit much. Cute the first time, pushing the formula a bit much the second go round.
I can't believe they used the "for one of these characters...the episode that changes everything" in a Eureka preview. Ugh.
Also, the science in this episode - not so scientific, I think. I mean I'd expect Stark and Carter to be parboiled from standing that close to the lake, let alone the breakthrough point underground.
However, SARAH's line about sarcasm made me LOL big time.
