A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Glad to have Henry back. The sponsorship sucks ass. And are we supposed to understand the implications of the movie Frances Fisher was watching, apart from "atomic bomb explodes in Eureka in the '39"? I mean, I get why that would be significant, but should we understand WHY it's so significant?

Also, the lack of Zane at the restaurant + Jo's big hug of Henry = gives me hope my big shipper desire may come to pass. Please?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Jo/Henry, Frank? thought never crossed my mind. If so, eeenteresting, and I'll have to think about that, but my gut reaction is a mild No. Gung-ho Jo plus angsty Henry just adds up to no-fun in my book. Whereas I'm almost on board for Fargo/Jo. I think Henry needs to angst awhile. Someonde like Kim I'd think it would take a while to move past.

Or else this is totally not what you meant and I've wasted a whole paragraph as to why not what you didn't mean.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

"atomic bomb explodes in Eureka in the '39"?

Because it's about 6 years too early? The first atomic bomb wasn't exploded until June of 1945.

Jo/Henry, Frank?

I'll admit, it first crossed my mind during the first season, when Henry was the antithesis of angsty (at least until the very end) and Jo was getting it on with Taggart. But I haven't been able to let it go. However, as (I think) ita pointed out when I first suggested it, if they ever got together and reproduced, their kids would take over the world.

Of course, there are some interesting possibilities there as well...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

See, if they'd had scenes between Carter and Allison at any point in the first two seasons half as romantic as that sunset moment, I'd have been rooting for them as a couple.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Eureka is tying with Psych as biggest corporate whore show out there, and I'm not sure which is worse--Eureka's dedication to just one brand, or Psych's indiscretion. However that "talk to the hand" phone still keeps popping into my mind and amusing me, so they can continue with adverts a bit longer.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Found the corporate sponsorship a bit jarring, but other than that I enjoyed the episode. I love Carter & Henry together!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Speaking for the don't-have-season-3-yet-spoilerwhores (whose duly elected representative I am), I've got to agree that Jo/Fargo charmed me as much as it made me giggle. Mind you, I enjoyed Jo/Taggart quite a lot too, actually - they were really rather well matched in some ways. I thought it was rather endearing in its improbability.

Also, Henry is made of awesome. And yes, the Henry-Carter dynamic is one of my favourite things about the show.

A rave review for DT as Hamlet. Which is nice.

Patrick Stewart is good too. In other news, water is wet.
