Speciesist.
As much as I'd like to see Moffat's take on Tintin, I'm psyched he turned that down, as Speilberg would have more control of the script(s), and I'm really glad to have him running Who.
Mal ,'Serenity'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I wish that they would say when we get these:
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA SEASON 4.5 WEBISODES
With the 4th and final season of SCI FI's award-winning series coming to a close, fans can rejoice with Galactica Webisodes returning in the weeks leading up to the final 10 episodes. SCIFI.COM and Universal Cable Production will produce ten 2-3 minute serialized webisode chapters that complement and enhance the action broadcast on SCI FI. The storyline will give viewers more insight into characters and events from the 4th season.
(And no word on the Farscape webisodes.)
And they've announced three new original series of which only one is a scripted show:
OUTER SPACE ASTRONAUTS (working title) (Five 30-Minute Episodes)
In the future, many courageous souls journey to the far reaches of the galaxy, seeking knowledge, adventure, and the thrill of exploration. They are integral to the survival of the human race and truly have 'the right stuff.' The rest are the Outer Space Astronauts. The slovenly Captain Ripley commands the "space-ially" challenged crew of the O.S.S. Oklahoma as they go about their daily routine of working in space. The show, created by Russell Barrett, is a combination of live action, 3D and 2D animation. Executive Producers are Barrett, Scott Puckett and David O. Russell (Three Kings).
Avatar: I enjoyed the ending but am sad that Katara and Zuko didn't end up together. I like Mai and all, but I thought it would have been nice to have the water and fire nations joined like that. Also Aang is just too young to be taken seriously as a romantic figure. I will so miss this show.
Sorry, Trudy. I know where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree. Given that we knowthere's a SJA series coming up, it's not a spoiler to know that the character for which THE SERIES IS NAMED is alive.
You know, but I don't happen to watch or keep track of SJA. It is entirely possible I'm not the only one. I really see no harm in you taking an extra half second to type the return-s-(text)-return it takes to avoid spoiling a person who doesn't pay attention to a British kids show.
Okay, but I haven't seen the end of season 4 - I had NO IDEA that Sarah Jane was in danger.
Other than what was in "Turn Left". . . which surely was erased?
I just want more SJA sooner. My son Bobby loved it. It is nice to have shows we can both enjoy.
sumi, Sarah Jane is always in danger. I don't think it's a coincidence that she's an investigative reporter whose last name is dropped from the title so that the remainder rhymes with Lois Lane ...
Hell, her middle name would be danger. If it wasn't Jane.
Skipping 800 messages to say...
I had the opportunity to cuddle a Sky Bison the other day, and now I WANT ONE. And I may have to watch Avatar. First time a stuffed animal will have gotten me into a fandom.
Also, anyone got a good source for Torchwood screencaps? I want to get a gander at the "steampunk Torchwood" getups. Those were in the s2 season finale, yes?
You know, but I don't happen to watch or keep track of SJA.
The "given that we know" was based on Sumi's post prior to mine. I didn't know there was another SJA series either until Sumi posted about it.
btw, that's NOT a criticism of Sumi! Announcing that there's going to be a new series of a show has never been considered a spoiler here nor do I think it should be.
