A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

...played by Lala Ward - ie Mrs Richard Dawkins.

Which is one of the things that made the Richard Dawkins cameo in 4.12 so cool!

My doctor is also Tom Baker. (He would be most people's of a certain age, I would guess, because his run was longer than anybody elses.) It doesn't stop me appreciating the newer, prettier Doctors, though.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, quite right! I'm loving Tennant to pieces, and Eccleston was just a delight.

Were there to be another regeneration in the foreseeable future, who do we think might make a good Eleven?

cereal

So, look, hang on - Eli Stone has Jonny Lee Miller as the lead? WTF? Good lordy lord, the cast of Trainspotting really did go on to do well for themselves, didn't they? Between this and Journeyman and the ongoing success of Ewan McGregor, Kelly McDonald, Robert Carlisle et al. Bless! (I mean, I don't know if it bombed or was crap or whatever, because I'm only bumping into it because I was trying to find Victor Garber singing on Youtube - speaking of which, VICTOR GARBER SINGING ON YOUTUBE! Bless him! Still - go team My People! They is in ur teevee shows, stealin' yor jobs!)

Ahem.

Anyway, checking out the imdb section on Eli Stone, it appears to be Ali McBeal: The Next Generation? Premisewise?

Does it suck?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Does it suck?

It very much is. I don't think it sucks, but then again I also liked Ally McBeal.

Art Crawl!!!

I found Eli Stone a disappointment. (Did it get picked up?)

I liked All McBeal in small doses. Some of it I liked enormously, actually (especially John Cage. LOVE Peter MacNicol) but whereas I really enjoyed the initial show-us-what-she's-thinking style of thing, it irritated me when that sort of segued into 'oooh she's so special and magical! Look, unicorns!' kind of thing. I didn't have a hate-on for the titular character, but I did like the supporting characters more than her.

I liked Ally, but I loved John Cage. Peter MacNichol is the reason I started watching Numb3rs.

Yay! Yay with the MacNicol love! (Oh, man, I heart Larry SO! I'm very fond of most all the cast of Numb3rs, but Larry I want to keep. [also, the Larry/Charlie thing makes my head go boom with the adorability, but that's another story])
