It occurred to me that Nine would have handled this scenario a lot better.
Except, of course, Nine never would have gone off on this sight-seeing tour in the first place, I suppose.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

SGA: You know, McKay really could have said "I'm a physicist, not a doctor!" in all seriousness.
So who was that guy who helped them escape the Hive ship?
I've blanked on his name, but that's the father of Teyla's baby. She had some scenes with him at the end of last season, trying to appeal to his remaining... Athosian-manity and get him to help her.
Did he get fried along with the rest of the ship's crew? I thought that considering most of the crew were presumably Athosians under some kind of hypnotic sway that was a pretty harsh way to go....
In my ongoing game of coming-late-to-the-party, I've just finished watching Season 3 of Supernatural and Season 3 of Bones.
Oh, Winchesters - you really have no luck, eh?
Now I need to catch up with last season of SGA. (I take it that Teyla's baby wasn't fathered by Michael? I always had a sort of soft spot for those two crazy kids...)
Fay, come to the SPN thread! We would love to hear if you have any thoughts!!
Since when can't they beam people up while shields are raised? They were able to beam nukes over to hive ships from inside a shielded Daedalus back in the Season 2 premiere!
I think that they discovered some way of getting past the Hive ship shield that made that move possible, but the Wraith found a way to compensate for it by S3.
I think. One of the IT guys at the office has had my S1-2 DVDs on loan since his baby was born, and the kid's walking now. So it's been a while since I saw those episodes.

No, I was referring to them having to lower their own shields to beam Sheppard and Ronon up from the planet. That was a new limitation they've not had before. And it would have been smart to, say, disable Michael's cruiser before doing that even lowering their defenses were necessary.
Michael also had access to a bunch of SGA tech for a while, so he could conceivably have adapted his shielding in the meantime -- it makes sense that a good foe will keep upping his defense and offense.
So uh, I guess I missed SGA last night? (Off to check Darla the Tivo...)
