Well, I guess I'm lucky that this happened because I always forget that even though I have stuff set up to pay directly through my bank - the reality is that I still need to check the actual bill -or my budget payment went up in May - but I wasn't aware of it because I have my bill set up to be paid automatically. (I never had this problem when I was on gas heat but ComEd's program is much more fucked up.)

I don't have a car. I think I may have found it someplace where I can watch it. (Assuming that it doesn't disappear.)
Fingers crossed. (When I talked to Comcast I was mystified as to how it was that I had forgotten to pay that large an amount and not noticed the extra money. At least that mystery was solved.)
