Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Reprogram her quick.

She just needs a service pack....

Our wings are not tired.

This show wants me to watch more carefully than I usually watch tv. Every episode there is a large middle section where I am confused and unsure if I missed something. It would probably be a good plan to watch on my computer because then I wouldn't be doing stuff on the computer at the same time. Then I would still have the discomfort of being confused, but I would not feel it was my fault.

Yes, that likely is not sense making.

Much more Reese much more often. Shirtless would be ok too.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OK, I can see three scenarios for Cameron keeping the head chip (because if she was flat out bad, she would have wasted the Connors week 1): She's been programmed by the resistance to keep the chip, she's keeping the chip because it will help free her from her programming restrictions (i.e. she wants free will, but not necessarily in a good way - still could be interesting if she chooses stays on the side of the Connors) or some of her original programming is kicking in somehow.

So I just watched Farscape "The Way We Weren't." Damn, that was some fucked up television.

Just awesome. The show just keeps getting better and better....

That's a good 'un. I didn't see it till after seeing most of season 2, and it still made me go, "Holy crap." I like knowing that even Pilot has The Guilt.

Oh, you might like checking the Tourist's Guide to the Uncharted Territories. They do a nice mix of squee-ing and going, "But wait, that doesn't make sense, does it? Oh well."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

She probably kept the chip for the same reason that she kept the metal, she thinks she can use it against the other terminators. If she can reprogram that "brain" and switch it out with one of the other terminators, they have another terminator/mole.

Compassionately intolerant

I watched my first episode of SCC this evening, courtesy of the Fox online player which plays much nicer with my new to me computer.

Liked it more than I thought I would and am glad to see Summer in action again.

I do worry that she will be forever typecast as the bod with the leaky brain pan.

I completely agree with the above Brian Austin Green comments. I could never take him seriously before but, hey, he's grown up nicely.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

HOLY SHIT! Lucky Spencer is Kyle Reese!!!

This is exactly what I said to my television. If we count Christian Bale in the upcoming movie, we have an I Know What You Looked Like At The Awkward Stage hat-trick going. (Not that Christian Bale was awkward for more than a microsecond.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I liked that hour of SCC television. And it was very pretty in HD. I see Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz's name on this puppy. IMDB has them on for 9 episodes--anyone know the story? I'd really like a happy ending for them.
