On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Why do I keep coming in here to taunt myself? Must watch DW, tonight!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Is RTD going to be involved in the upcoming specials, or is he done after this season?

I believe he's doing the specials through 2009, and is leaving after that.

So not a proper farewell, but certainly a regular series farewell.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess since he gets to throw his own party, might as well do it right. And if he pulls off integrating all three shows well (god, I want to hug the SJA crew to myself to keep them safe), more power to him.

By the way, there's a new Futurama DVD today.

David Eick's video blog - what you need to remember is that when they're talking about episode 11 and 12 they mean 10 and 11. (They've been counting Razor as 1 & 2.)

DW 4.11:

I don't want any version of Donna to die! Sniff.

Also, OMGWTFBADWOLF!!!

So, have we got one or two episodes of Who left?

Two.

4x11: I know I was placating myself about River's reaction to Donna's name, but the Ood didn't think the song would last. I am not optimistic.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The new Who has been presenting 13 "hour" blocks.
