Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I just watched the first two seasons on Netflix. Despite knowing about the Observer (Michael Cerveris! Who knew?), I have yet to spot him once.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

One of the pleasures of rewatching old X Files episodes is the parade of appearances by actors before their big break. Baby Bradley Whitford! Baby Mark Sheppard! Baby Lucy Liu! And I just watched an episode the other night that had a baby Jewel Staite in it. That was unexpected.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I know all the others but which episode was Lucy Liu in?

Hell Money. She plays a dying daughter that provides motivation for her father to make bad choices.

Ah, that makes sense.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I was just watching an very old episode of The Wild, Wild West, and who should be on there. looking about 12, but Richard Pryor! Turns out it was his first TV appearance.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Wait, the Observer is in every episode? I never knew that!

Rayne, if you read the Trivia link for each episode on IMDB, it tells you where he appears in each episode. and during the first season Fox had him turning up on other shows, like American Idol, in the audience or on the sidelines during NFL games.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Columbo episodes are good "Hey, it's that guy/gal" watching, too.

That's hilarious.

I'm watching the iZombie finale, and I didn't realize I was that attached to Clive, but I've spent the past 40 minutes chanting "Not Clive! Not Clive!"
