Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I don't think the Supergirl universe Superman is meant to be Cavill. The Supergirl universe is way too positive for the Mope of Steel.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I agree with Kalshane - totally different Superman. What would be cool is if Supes showed up and looked just like Ray Palmer.

Losing Cat Grant would be a shame. I disliked her in the beginning, but she really grew on me as the show went on.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Supergirl has the same woven metal-looking costume as the Snyder movies, so I figure her Superman *looks* like theirs even if he occasionally smiles and talks to people instead of flying off to brood by himself in icy wastelands.

Actually, it looks like Flockhart will be going to Canada with the rest.

sj said this over on FB, and I agree with it: I hope this means we can get a Supergirl-Flash crossover that gives us Calista Flockhart and Jesse L. Martin together.

I wonder if they'll be able to afford the digital post-processing on Flockhart, or if they'll just go back to smearing vaseline on the camera lens, like they did on Moonlighting.

Legends of Tomorrow

So, you end the what had been a pretty good episode (very little Savage and the Hawkpeople) by killing off one of the two best characters? No more Snart? Not smart.

Of course, he did get killed right on top of a temporal nexus, so who knows?

Also not a fan of the whole Rip has been an idiot because the Time Masters were manipulating him thread, because I'm pretty sure that Rip could've been just as big an idiot without the extra help.

Now the Thanagarians are coming. Will they have wings and hawk helmets?

Nah, I stopped watching it and wasn't planning to go back.
