I keep trying to find a good clip of him from Doctor Who, but it's surprisingly difficult. And 75% of the results are crappy YouTube vids.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
His character was my favorite part of all of those seasons of Who. After a while anyway. But his awesomeness for me was not really clippable.
Here's a little series of some fun Rory clips: [link]
Poor Arthur Darvill. He is so much better than what this show saddled him with.
Arthur Darville was awesome on Doctor Who. Rory became one of my favorite people.
What Consuela said ^ , 100%. Felt like jumping on the "I Love Rory" bandwagon, 'cuz that's how awesome he was. And Rip is just not.
I guess so many of them just seem to need explanation. Like, yes, that's Hitler, and Rory was kind of a centurion occasionally, but also he was a nurse, and this is before the first time he died....
No comments on last night's premiere of Orphan Black? I'm just getting around to watching it now.
Oh, I watched it a few weeks ago! I *love* the new season.
I'm intrigued that Dylan Bruce is still in the credits, which makes me think this season is Better Call Beth.
Just finished iZombie finale. Woo! Also, DAMN. Did not see that reveal coming. I am not psyched about LOVE TRIANGLE TIME, but at least Ravi didn't die? Also not super psyched that it looks like they may be angling Liv and Major back together. Also, Major's super soldier brain could have kicked in a leetle bit sooner there in the basement. Dude, you are holding an axe and a gun. Use them.
So was Blaine lying the whole time about the amnesia? Or maybe he was lying at first and then his memories came back and he kept faking it? Or he's really amnesiac? I'm confused on that point. He got really competent there at the end.
Haven't watched Orphan Black yet! I need to get on that.
