A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The guy they've got doing Hades on OuaT is doing a pretty good combination of smooth and menacing.
See, in my head, he's still the character he played on Ally McBeal, with a slight detour to Raising Hope. I get no menace from him.
Greg Germann is rather good at dickish smarm. I recently saw him playing up the DS on Limitless.
Flash:
That episode was kind of all over the place. It wasn't necessarily bad, it just felt like a grab-bag of plots thrown together.
The leap they took to go from V9 produces blue lightning to OMGWTFJAYISZOOM makes Barry's bridge leap look like a crack in the sidewalk. Also, I realize Barry has some mentor betrayal issues, but couldn't he have just opened the case to remove the helmet rather than scattering broken glass everywhere*. He didn't even dust off the last few pieces.
* Of course this just might be my chem lab instructor issues about broken glass coming through...
Iris should not be considering dating her boss (and vice versa).
Nice Detective Green reference tonight.

I couldn't follow that at all.

Sometimes he just wants to feel like a badass, is my theory.
Iris should not be considering dating her boss (and vice versa).
Right???
Yeah. The Iris romance subplot (especially with her boss) was particularly problematic (especially right after the conversation about them being married in both the future and on Earth 2.)
Also, Wally wins for "most pointless appearance" in this episode.
Also, poor Caitlin can't catch a break. We finally discover she has a friend outside of Team Flash and then said friend goes crazy and dies.
The only way I can watch most shows is just not pay real close attention.
I think Wally was there to suggest initially that maybe the new speedster was Kid Flash. It is nice that they're including him.
and then said friend goes crazy and dies.
There's no body...
and then said friend goes crazy and dies.
Man, I hate when that happens.
My favourite part was Jesse's throwaway comment about Beyonce being Senator Knowles on Earth-2. The rest was... an episode of TV, I guess. Wait! There was Cisco's silly dancing! Cisco Ramon = basically 75% of the reason why I'm still watching the show.
On the other hand, iZombie is KILLING IT recently. That last episode was packed with plot and HSQ and fabulous characters moments to gills... and OMG RITA. *flails*

That was excellent.

Cisco has totally turned into one of my favorite parts of the show.
