A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
So, this week's The 100: didn't even show Lexa's death in the previews! (Although given the heat the show has gotten for that, perhaps that was judicious.)
I spent a fair amount of time yelling at Kane: he wasted all that effort, burned all those contacts, and failed in the end because he didn't want to hurt Bellamy? WTF, dude. Also, I don't get why he never made it clear to Pike how completely outnumbered they are. They can never beat "the Grounders" by force of arms. There are always more Grounders, all over the continent, and Skaikru has, what, 1200 people? If that? Madness.
That said, Raven! So awesome, Raven! And that in turn brought Jasper around. I was a little surprised that the B plot didn't intersect with the A plot, but I guess that's next week.
Once Upon a Time: Making hell a twisted version of Storybooke seems like a good move in terms of saving money on set design and construction.
OUAT: But I suspect that negotiations with some actors (playing deceased characters) may have been rather involved.
I spent most of last night's episode not trusting the Meg character just because of who was playing her.
Supergirl:
Red Kryptonite already? I worry they're going to burn through all the iconic stuff too early. Still, I really enjoyed the episode. Melissa Benoist was awesome, as usual. She sold being a very different and darker Kara without going over into camp.
I'm never not impressed by Melissa Benoist.
And I was
not
expecting that with Hank!!
Yeah. On one hand, this hopefully will eventuslly open the door to him operating openly as Martian Manhunter, but it's going to suck for him in interim.
I will say that one thing that occurred to me this morning (but didn't think about when I was watching) is I'm surprised they went with the "evil is more sexual" trope on the show. It seems counter to their usual objectives.

I didn't really see it as more sexual, per se. More confident, yes. While Kara did dress in a bit more glamorous attire, it wasn't exceptionally revealing or anything. And her going after James was a bit hands-y but not over-the-top.
And from Jon's link:
i am a very different person with a very different world view than my employer on the 100
Whoooooooa, that's some shade, Javi. (But from what I've heard, the showrunner's response was not admirable, whereas Javi actually listened to everyone.)
Yeah, I suspect Javi argued against what they did and was overruled by JR. Doesn't give me a lot of hope for the show going forward...
