Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Also, is it a great idea for Nyssa to disband the League of Assassins and just turn them loose? MAYBE NOT???
Perhaps this is what Malcolm was talking about with Oliver.
Legends
That was pretty terrible. Cold seems like the only person on that ship with more than two working brain cells to rub together.
Gideon, bone me!
That, however, was great.
Legends - really, I feel like I OUGHT to like it, but I'm just not enjoying it.
However, The 100 seems to be getting more interesting. I missed a bunch of episodes, so I'm missing some of the developments, but it seems to be moving fairly quickly.
I left The 100 on after Legends last night. Haven't been watching so the politics are opaque to me, but that one woman John Cartering Brenda Strong from the arena meets with my approval.
Not only did Ichabod say "Haters gotta hate", he said it in conjunction with getting a triple word score.
I'll be in my bunk dreaming about playing strip Scrabble with Crane.
Someone should make a long fanvid of just Ichabod and Abby being snarky at each other and Ichabod dealing with the 21st century. For me. Because that's all I want the show for.
Wow, there was way too much B plot on Sleepy Hollow tonight. I couldn't have cared less about anything Jenny, Sophie, or Joe did hunting that gargoyle or whatever it was, and I swear it felt like half the show.
Abbie was everything that was awesome, though.
And speaking as someone who watches the show about 95% for Ichabbie chemistry and shipping, that, "I never got the chance to tell you...[chess move thing]," has to be one of the most annoying bits of shipper bait-and-switch I've ever seen.
That said, I was primed to be annoyed by all the spoilers and East Coast episode reactions I'd seen in the three hours before it aired out here. I'd probably enjoy the show a lot more if I could bring myself to go offline and not so much as look at my phone notifications until I've seen it, but I suck at avoiding spoilers. I've been known to hit refresh on Twitter while watching live sporting events waiting to see if a kick will go through the uprights or a pitcher will get the final out in the bottom of the ninth, since the "live" TV feed is almost always just a few seconds behind. And if I can't make it five seconds, how am I supposed to wait three hours?

But didn't it want to make you bust into "Guns and Ships"? I did, in fact, say "Everyone give it up for America's favorite fighting Frenchman!"
Well, sure, insofar as it's my default reaction to any reference to Lafayette...
