GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Flash

Good job, Barry. Way to not do what you came to Earth-2 to do, screw up your doppelganger's life and get yourself captured all in short order. How hard would it be to tell Iris "Sorry, I've got some work to catch up on, I'll see you at home."?

I did like the shot of Kara during the dimensional rift. Did anyone catch all the names on the Barry-2's phone? I saw Eddie, Diana, and Hal.

ETA: Killer Frost was fun. Same with evil Cisco. Evil Firestorm just came across as slightly more douchey.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Some of the other images in the stream were Grodd, John Wesley Shipp as the Flash, a finger wearing a Legion of Superheroes flight ring, Jonah Hex, and a Green Arrow that didn't look much like Oliver.

edit: Having Deadshot show up was kind of random, no?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I lost nothing by skipping all the death scenes in this episode of XF.

I was disappointed not to see Bill, though, nor to find out why Charlie was estranged from Maggie. It felt very true to the old show, though. And it was nice that they remembered Melissa.

Yeah, Deadshot as an incompetent cop was weird.

Captain Singh as a gangster was pretty cool, though.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Arrow: whoa.

Also, I was sure that Felicity was listening in while Oliver and Malcolm were talking and Malcolm said that he knew about William.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Right? DAMN, Barry. It isn't that hard.

Did anyone catch all the names on the Barry-2's phone? I saw Eddie, Diana, and Hal.

Also Dad, Mom & Dad, and Bruce. (But no Clark?)

So, here are my guesses for who Zoom is (that's if he's a doppelganger of someone on Earth-1): Barry's dad (we know he's alive on Earth-2), Eddie (ditto), Wally West (although we don't know yet if he's on Earth-2), OR Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller is big enough, and Zoom has a speech pattern that's kind of like Captain Cold's speech pattern).

I would like Jesse Martin to sing "My Funny Valentine" FOREVER.

Arrow: whoa.

I, uh, completely didn't understand what happened on the roof with Ollie and Malcolm. I thought Ollie had made a shady deal with Malcolm (er, ANOTHER shady deal) and only pretended to kill him. Malcolm seemed to be even more OTT melodramatic during the fight than usual, so I thought that was a sign they put together a shady deal.

And then when Malcolm showed up and Nyssa melted the ring (which, BTW, is totally NOT the same ring Ollie gave Malcolm at the end of S3) and no one was surprised to see him, I said to Tim, "Did I miss the scene where they explained how Malcolm faked his death and everyone was in on it?"

Tim had to point out to me that Ollie cut Malcom's hand off. Yup. I missed all of that.

Malcolm said that he knew about William

I expected William to come back around, but not that way. DAMN.

The whole Calculator plotline was a bit anticlimactic. I assume he'll be back.

One of the news screens had a blurb on the bottom about "Mayor Snart", though it didn't specify which Snart, I suppose.

So I'm (completely unspoiled) speculating that when Team Flash tries to return to Earth-1, something goes wrong, leaving Barry temporarily lost in the multiverse, which is how the Supergirl crossover ends up happening. While it's not impossible the Supergirl Earth is the same as the Arrowverse, it seems unlikely that Superman hasn't come up before now.

Either that or it could just be that Barry is still the Flash on Supergirl's Earth, he's just not the Arrowverse Barry.

Oh, I saw that. And Lisa could be mayor. Or Leonard could be mayor AND Zoom. After all, Mayor Wilkins is proof that mayors aren't always good guys.

On Arrow: I kind of love that Oliver and Malcolm can have a swordfight on a rooftop, complete with the traditional League of Assassins portable fire pits (do they just travel with all this shit?), surrounded by skyscrapers, and NO ONE NOTICES that the mayoral candidate is busy chopping off a dude's hand.

Apparently TMZ doesn't exist in Star City.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Ha, Teppy, My DH said the same thing!

Ever since we went for that long weekend in Vancouver, we have made that part of our viewing. First it was spotting locations--"I think we were on that bridge." then it morphed to "I watched them shoot this scene" and now we've gotten to "I'm in this scene--over there behind that plant."
