A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
So, watching the new show "Lucifer" and just figured out that the female cop on the show played Lori on Hawaii Five-0. Girl was an albatross for two seasons (and not just because the brought her on as a love interest for Steve, but they had NO chemistry*) Suspect she's going to be just as bad here.
When is Hollywood going to get over pretty blond cops paired up with formerly evil guys? (see alsoAngel and Moonlight)
Supergirl
Enjoyed most of the episode, but Senator KellyCrane's about-face on mutantsaliens seemed a little too easy. You think her guards being murdered and her being kidnapped by a shape-shifting alien would make her more afraid of aliens, not less, Supergirl's actions be damned.
Hiring Bailey Chase doesn't instill confidence in the Lucifer producers' commitment to acting excellence either.
Tom Ellis is really swinging for the bleachers on channeling Tim Curry in Rocky Horror, isn't he?

in all fairness, he was supposed to be bad.
we got nearly everything on the list, except for the pencils in the ceiling.
Did you mean that you didn't have them on your list? Because they were there in the ep, when Skinner and Mulder walked into the old office.
In X-Files-adjacent news, one of the former TWOP recappers is writing about it over at Fug Girls.

I just watched the 2nd ep of X-Files. The William stuff was beautiful and heartbreaking.
ION, Doctor Who isn't just leaving Netflix. My queued Hulu eps are suddenly expiring in 5 days. I'm only 5 eps into Matt Smith's run. I guess I'm never catching up.
I never watched the original run of The X-Files, but TCG did and wants to watch the new episodes. How lost am I going to be?
There is a lot of exposition in the new ones to cover the main points. You'll get the gist. I wouldn't worry about catching ALL of the exposition though. It's pretty thick.
