I wish they could lose Hawkman somehow.
Maybe take him FAR forward in time and ditch him? He's like a bad penny, even killing him off is only a temporary solution, and in this show he always reincarnates into the exact same person.
WHY couldn't they have convinced Michael Shanks to reprise his role? His Hawkman was one off the few really good things about Smallville.

Shanks is probably too old for the CW at this point in his career. Still, since it seems like they've established that these are the bodies Carter and Kendra have had throughout history, what with their son recognizing them immediately, why couldn't they have gotten someone who looks like they might have at least a little Egyptian blood in them. Although I'd settle for someone who can act.
The guy playing Savage isn't very good either. Maybe just have the show about Cold, Mick, and Sara on an eternity long pub crawl beating people up, with Ray following along to bail them out of jail.
