Ha, yeah, the tech stuff was kind of a mess for the reasons you said, but whatever, because this show is great and Melissa Benoist is fantastic and CAT FUCKING GRANT figured shit out and there is lots of flying around and shooting lasers and superpeople fight without destroying half the city and Supergirl actually bothers to save civilians and I want a new episode next week.

Yes, all of this! I really think CF is perfect on this show.

I do like that they're giving Astra a little more depth.

Astra is interesting. I am braced for Cat to get her memory wiped or something, but I hope not - what she does now could be a good story.

It will be interesting to see how Cat and Kara's relationship changes now that she knows. On one hand, I can see her being "I'm paying you to be my assistant, I don't care what you do in your off time, when you're in the office it's my time." but on the other she'll probably be more understanding when Kara has to suddenly run off to save the world.
