A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I think I'm over Baltar at this point also. So over him. I really want him to die.
Kathy, I just don't buy that he has indeed become a true believer. Maybe we will see more evidence to this effect - at least scenes that will convince me, but he has gone back and forth and back and forth so much that I'm just not sure where he stands.
I had sort of hoped Baltar would die in the last episode, but only because I like what that would have done to Roslin's conscience. I like the gadfly role Baltar's playing, and liked him proselytizing to the Centurion. It was the only moment I can recall him doing something that wasn't nakedly self-interested on the surface, although I think there's a healthy dose of self-interest in the act. I think the character is trying to convince himself that he's really a prophetic voice by preaching when virtually no one is listening.
I was wondering at that point if he was in the loop re: the Centurion's having self-awareness now. Because if he knows that his sermon is being heard by a sentient being, that's very different than if he thinks he's talking to a dumb hunk of metal.
I was wondering that, too!
And it all goes back to the essential question of Baltar - is he being uber-crafty and devious, or REALLY FUCKING STUPID?
[Insert Spinal Tap reference here]
I'm going with really fucking stupid, myself.
Me too. He just can't stop talking and trying to make trouble - and the possible consequences (even to himself) don't seem to hit him until it's too late.
For a super-genius, he seems to be incapable of forethought.

So he's Wile E. Coyote? Are the Cylons from Acme as well?

Was he aware they didn't have it before? I feel like that's only been discussed among the Cylons this season.
